all right, i’ll pretend we’re still on tour since i did not get a chance to upload the blog while we still were there…

jungle time, we walked really long in these paths between trhees and plants and threes


it was really challenging but in the end we reached our goal wich was this quite beautiful beach

that for some reason was called “monkey beach”

that’s why we went there with enough bananas to feed em all


and soon realised that they wanted more. they were constantly trying to steal our shoes, clothes or whatever they could find.
michele also sayd he wanted to get into a fight with one of them, then he changed his mind when he saw how scary they looked when we tried to piss em off…
so we just gave em what we could and started a photo shooting for LOST, season 6

we left again and went to penang and kuala lumpur

did some moderate shopping and really enjoyed the weird tropical christmas madness

we eventually played two more gigs



where the crowd was so nice that i took some pictures asking em to act crazy and pretend that we were still playing

they were so good at it that even with some of us in the frame noone could notice we were not even playing, right?

so, that was it

our malesian tour was over and we had to catch a bus to singapore to play the last gig..

i’ll write the last post with pictures from singapore as soon as i have five minutes to sit down and think a bit. it may happen in some months, as last time

all right, no much time since i’m stealing some wireless in the middle of the street,
it wasnt the easiest thing ever to leave our australian friends, but we had to do it

we catched our flight to kuala lumpur

and once we landed we met our tour manager and friend Arwith waiting for us, so professional!

since then, it has been a happy mix of : sleep, sweat, monkeys, roti cheese, heat, fruit, jungle, rain, beach, snakes, waterfalls, malesian buddies and so on… we also played a gig in melaka, next update with pictures of monkey bay soon

melbourne was FANtastic

we met some fruit dealer on the tram

some newschool rapper at the show

and some sleepy drummer that took guarana to play twice as fast

we also gave a lift to this back to the future fan so he could go twice as fast too

went downtown for some dumb tourist shopping

and ended up buying shit for an original italian dinner…
the selected location was juzzy’s famous balcony, and the cook, of course, was master fulvio.

Cal finally showed up (in great shape!)

so we finally could do a group picture in full 90’s style

then we did another one in ’00s style

fulvio coocked the shit out of everybody


we hanged out there for quite a while

and took a cab back home

off to bed now. ‘night aussies

we slept at the power trio’s place,

we went out and had a fast break for a breakfast. the kids figured out that it was “free slurpee day”…every year, on 7/11, you can walk in any seveneleven and get a slurpee for free. you just have to remember to wish the attendant a “happy seven eleven day”. now, considering that getting a free slurpee is less healthy then getting a free punch in the face, it’s good that they do it for just one day a year, and it’s good that we all tend to forget things like what date is today.

whats new on this side of the world… we played two shows in brisbane. the photo above is from an house show, we got seminaked and we were looking horrible. we did the same at the fake beach in the city, wich was really cool

we met god and he had a boner.

he took us to the best mexican restaurant ever
he drove us back to sydney where we played a gig in JURA bookstore

the kids there were so kind to cook us pasta!!!

god said goodbye

and left us in the hands of mikey

he took control of the situation and took us to our first meeting with mister Ned Kelly, who apparently was just another badass

…so, to give an end at this looong post, we’re finally in melbourne

and we already hoocked back up with our beloved family members:

brisbane

yes, it’s the third post with pictures of us at the beach, well, i’m sorry but it’s everything we’re doing, you jealous?
this sexy boy is Alex, he’s driving us all around, sweeeet!

we’re staying in this amazing place, you can see the skyline and downtown from this huge balcony


too bad we’re too lazy and we prefer to chill and play ping pong in the living room



we’re eventually playing some shows too, but that’s the same old story, i think it’s boring to see photos of us on the stage, no?

newcastle

newcastle was great,
we were at the cesspool house. same place where we stayed two years ago but with different people, pip, we miss your dog

i also bought these shoes, everybody in the band is not feeling them, are you?

we left and our friend Alex drove for 12 hours in a roll to get to brisbane.

there were 6 of us plus bags plus instruments in a station vagon. two of us where sitting in the back..

we got to the venue soon and a bunch of old floks were playing bocce. so we did.

bondi beach and more

all right, jetlag is killing us,

wherever we go we pass out in 10 seconds.
looking for the perfect place to sleep, we drove to Bondi beach to catch some huge waves

we then met some cool kids, these two are mark and leigh

and we reached the venue to play the first show of the tour

here we met this little sweet kid, who apparently, was the only one to give a shit bout halloween.

we didnt even put on the masks we brought from home, wich was disappointing. we went partying and we rocked until 6 in the morning though, but that’s another story.
all right, time to put shit back togheter and drive to newcastle..

australia!

quick update to let you know that we all survived the 28 hours trip. some of us slept all the way, some others got so bored to watch up to 7 ( SEVEN ) movies in a roll. bad ones. what counts now is that we’re in sydney, safe and sound, and we’re now wearing shorts and tshirts.

we met Sam and agent Cebio trapped him

…he wont get hurt, we’re just making sure he’s gonna take us to the beach.

we headed to the first supermarket to get those fake mortadellas wich always makes us happy in our miserable vegetarian lives.

then we went to the place where we’re staying tonight, as usual, one of those great places where you can do whatever you want, from playing piano:

to have a barbecue party in the backyard (it’s gonna happen tonight!)
