just 7 months later. i’m here to tell you about what happened at the end of the west cost tour last summer.
first of all, let me tell you this story :

after our last gig in texas we spent the night with the most rude and unfriendly gilrs ever, i’m sure they’re cool in everyday life but they had a problem with us speaking italian, like if we were talking shit about them, even if we really were not.
or maybe i’m over-reacting. am i?
anyway, it was fun.
next morning we left for one of those 24 hours drives and…

in the middle of the night, driving through the desert we had a MINOR problem with the van.

next thing i know is that we woke up on a sidewalk, in one of those little villages where a big man of few words was fixing our van. we still had to reach Chicago and play the last gig.

we did it right before the show

and it was an awesome night,
old friends came to meet us and we all had that weird feeling of seeing something special when it comes to an end. again.
thinking at the whole thing now, looking at these pictures i can only smile and think about how much fun it was, and how much fun it will be, next time.
la quiete is 5 people living the dream that having a punk band when you’re over 25 and you’re full of shit to do (or just full of shit) is still possible and beautiful as it was when we were 18. you may think it’s pretentious, but fuck it!
we are the young ones.
i’ll make sure to keep you all posted.
